What this means

BodyShield 50 is the Maui snorkeling bottle: zinc 23.5% as the only active, and Thrive prints non-nano. Palau is not the problem here. Daily Defense Balm is the face moisturizer: zinc 20%, also labeled non-nano, also phenoxyethanol-free. It does not claim 40- or 80-minute water resistance, so it is not the swim tube. If you already bought Sun Bum Mineral for a Palau trip, BodyShield is the swap. That lotion fails Palau on phenoxyethanol. These two do not.

All places

Palau and the US Virgin Islands are in this table too. Maui and the Big Island use the same mineral-only rule.

Maui and the Big Island share the mineral-only test. Palau can still fail a zinc lotion on phenoxyethanol. HEL mixed usually means nano is not disclosed.
